Germany - Magdeburg to Minden

The original church Otto 1 built is buried under today's cathedral. There have been extensive archaeological excavations in and around in the cathedral over the last 20 years that have resulted in many important finds including the coffin with the remains of the mediaeval Queen Editha, antiques and various bishops' tombs.
